Scarborough SEA LIFE and Marine Sanctuary Scalby Mills, Scarborough
|
Scarborough SEA LIFE and Marine Sanctuary is prominently situated on the North Bay with its iconic triangle buildings. You can walk along the promenade or take a trip directly to us by hopping on the North Bay Miniature Railway.
Journey beneath the waves and get up close and personal with some of the most amazing creatures of the sea including sharks, rays and turtles to name but a few.
Meet our resident otters, seals and penguins as they go about their daily routines and get to know each character as the day goes on.
With a quiz trail and regular talks and feeding demonstrations throughout the day, there is plenty to keep everybody occupied. You are sure to learn a fantastic “fishy fact” to wow your friends and family with.
Our Seal Rescue Centre and Seal rescue Academy will show you how we care for injured and abandoned seal pups and bring you even closer to the action.
New 2010
Incredible Leafy Sea Dragons from the seas off Australia take centre stage at Scarborough SEA LIFE and Marine Sanctuary. Close relatives of seahorses, these bizarre and beautiful creatures are amongst the most remarkable camouflage experts in the animal kingdom
