Open daily from 9.15am for Bowls, Pool, Snacks, Meals and Refreshments.

Now a World Class Facility - after a recent major refurbishment which included a new suspended ceiling, improved lighting and a new laser levelled playing surface.

Rinks available at all times - the Centre is open daily all year round except for Christmas Day, with bowling available from 10am. Rinks are normally available at all times for visitors and non members who simply pay an hourly rink fee.

Catering Facilities - a comprehensive range of snacks, full meals and refreshments can be enjoyed at the comfortable tables on the spectator's gallery from 10am every day. During the same hours, a bar service is available offering wines, spirits and draught beers.

Free Coaching Courses for Everyone! - if you are new to the game of bowls or would simply like to improve, we offer free coaching courses of two hours a week for four weeks. These can be available during mornings, afternoons or evenings. All our coaches are fully qualified. To book a place on a course, please contact reception.

Vibrant Under 18's Section - there is a thriving under 18 section, with members joining from an early age. They meet for two hours every Sunday morning (Saturday during the summer months) when they enjoy practice games and coaching sessions with our own fully qualified coaches. Regular internal and regional competitions are organised and we are proud that through our under 18's programme some members have played for Yorkshire under 18's and one is now a full international.

Facilities for the Disabled - there is full access for disabled people to all facilities at the Alexandra Bowls Centre, Physically handicapped players are catered for with special 'Bowls 'n Buggies' sessions using purpose designed wheelchairs for use on the green.

A visually handicapped section meets weekly and are helped by the use of walkie talkie sets and brightly coloured bowls, sponsored by the Northern Co-operative Society,

Two crown greens are also available. The Scarborough Bowls Centre is unique in offering facilities for both Indoor Flat Green Bowlers and Outdoor Crown Green Bowlers. Simply book and play. All the equipment is supplied

Membership - for those who would like to become members of the Scarborough Indoor Bowling Club, we offer four different packages.

• Full Membership entitles you to play in leagues, friendly matches and knockout competitions. Rink fees are free and you also receive free membership to the Social Club.
• Junior Membership (Under 18) enjoys the same privileges as full members. Members under 24 in full-time further education also enjoy the same privileges as full members.
• Social Membership entitles you to preferential rink fees and membership of the social club, though you cannot play in leagues, knockout competitions or friendly matches.

Full Programme of Activities - for Full and Junior members, there is a comprehensive programme of activities during the winter months to cater for all ages, abilities and tastes.

• Friendly matches against visiting teams
• Club matches against other clubs

Promotional Opportunities - promotional opportunities are available for businesses and organisations to sponsor events or leagues etc. In exchange we offer a full publicity and marketing package. We regard any sponsorship as an opportunity for both parties to feel that there are mutual benefits to be gained.

The Alexandra Room - The attractive Alexandra room, overlooking the delightful and peaceful setting of the outdoor bowling green, is a perfect location for:

And with its own well stocked bar, it is ideal for:
