Cromwell Court is a charming Victorian house originally built as a private residence for a leading Scarborough doctor in 1886 and now converted into six self-contained flats which still retain spacious rooms with high corniced ceilings.

The flats are situated near Valley Road, just opposite Trinity Church. The South Cliff Shopping Centre is just a few minutes away, while a mini-supermarket is within sight of the house. A 10-15 minute stroll along a tree lined road and gardens takes you to the beach and town centre.

Each flat is a complete home - well equipped and comfortably furnished. Bedlinen and tea towels are provided - and there are cots and high chairs should you require them. There are colour televisions, ironing facilities and hairdryers in all flats, and a good selection of crockery and cutlery. In short, at Cromwell Court you will find all you need for a carefree, 'do as you please' holiday!

Cromwell Court makes an ideal base for a beach holiday and for exploring Scarborough's 1000 years of history. You can also explore the North York Moors National Park and five nearby coastal resorts. The medieval city of York and the many stately homes, abbeys and castles in the area are all well worth visiting. For the sports enthusiast, there is indoor and outdoor bowling, 2 golf courses, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, ten-pin bowling and the Sports Centre.

In the evening why not enjoy a visit to the famous playwright Alan Aykbourne's Theatre in the Round, or the Futurist Theatre with its many famous artists?

FLAT 1: Accommodation 2-6 persons.
A ground floor flat with its own front and back door, plus access to the main hall through a vestibule.

The large Lounge (19ft x 14ft) with a dining table in the bay window has two single luxury 'Wentel' wall beds with spring interior mattresses, television, easy chairs and settee. It has a kitchen area with gas cooker and fridge. Heating in every room.

The bedroom (10ft x 14ft) has a double and single bed, plus a small annexe with a single bed. The annexe has its own window and is separated by a curtain making it ideal for the older child.

The bathroom is complete with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet.

FLAT 2: Ground Floor: Accommodates 2-5 persons.
The large lounge (19ft x 17ft) has a dining table in the box bay and a kitchen area with electric cooker and fridge. There is a luxury double 'Wentel' wall bed with spring interior mattress, television, easy chairs and settee. Heating in every room.

The bedroom has a double and single bed, and a washbasin and toilet en-suite. The bathroom is complete with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet.

FLAT 3: First Floor: Accommodates 2-6 persons.
Lounge (19ft x 17ft) has double and single luxury 'Wentel' wall beds/spring interior mattresses, TV, settee and easy chairs. Heating in every room.

Full size fitted Kitchen with modern gas cooker, fridge. Bathroom complete with bath, shower, basin, toilet. Bedroom has double and single bed, wash basin, toilet en suite.

FLAT 4: First Floor: Accommodates 2-5 persons.
We have changed Flat 4 and it is now similar in format to Flat 2 which has consistently proved to be one of our most popular Flats.

Lounge (17ft x 14ft) with bay window. This room has a kitchen bar, gas cooker, fridge, luxury double Wentel wall bed, spring interior mattress, colour TV, arm chairs and settee. Heating in every room.

Bedroom (13ft x 14ft) has double and single bed, wash basin. Bathroom complete with bath, shower, basin and toilet.

FLAT 5: Second Floor: Accommodates 2-6 persons.
Lounge (17ft x 14ft) with double and 2 single luxury 'Wentel' wall beds/spring interior Mattresses, TV, settee, easy chairs. Heating in every room.

Full size fitted kitchen has modern gas cooker and fridge.

Double bedroom. Large Bathroom with basin, toilet and bath.

FLAT 6: Second Floor: Accommodates 2-4 persons.
We have changed Flat 6 and it is now similar in format to Flat 2 which has consistently proved to be one of our most popular Flats..
